What a little princess! We had a blast and got lots of candy. Which we were amazed that when offered the choice of a surprise under their pillows they traded their candy for it. The surprise ( from the halloween witch, which they knew was really daddy) turned out to be their own pack of mints and then some gum the next night. Which they were surprisingly pleased about. Yeahhhh! But we did keep their candy and are giving some back to them a little at a time. So moms happy and their happy. We sure lucked out this time.

Good idea. A few years back a friend from church told us that she lets her kids eat all they can the night of Halloween and then chucks the rest. I kind of went with that one this year (only on Saturday since the girls were knocked out by the time we got home from the party.) The candy is almost gone and now I don't have to worry about it being hoarded on a shelf somewhere. Probably not the most healthy method, but sure was fun.
